It is important to be aware of your surroundings on the track so we that side mirrors added to keep track of where we have been and keep us safe. We chose the UTV Mirror with A-pillar mounts. To complement the side mirrors, we set a Center mirror in the cabin. to have a clear view of what’s behind you is on the trails and dunes not only beneficial, but also help with your Maverick gets licensed in your state for roads.
The next aspect of improved comfort is handy storage. Our favorites are the Storage Bag, and the Door Storage Bags. These bags hold generous amounts of what you need handy but won’t compete with you for space. Plus, the bags come padded, keeping your knees protected and comfortable should they ever knock against the door.
A little protection from the elements goes a long way in making the ride more enjoyable. Moving to the outside, we installed an automotive-grade glass windshield. Sturdy, easy to clean, and durable, the Tusk UTV Folding Glass Windshield sports a forward air vent in the frame to let fresh air in and push dust out. For even more fresh air, simply unscrew two knobs at the top of the windshield frame to lower it onto a bracket mounted on the front bumper. Use the knobs again to hold it in place.
The windshield frame also has space for a manual wiper. A natural complement to the front window was holding the Tusk UTV polycarb rear window, the dirt and sand off as you drive.
In addition, while you secure the windshield, the front-mounted bracket can also keep the Tusk LED Light Bar. We boarded a larger 30 “Curved Light Bar Kit on the top as well. The bright LED light beam illuminates the way for a double plus in comfort and safety after the sun goes down.
