When most drivers consider upgrading the after-sales UTV, they will cover up the problems with the rear-view mirrors, because they are usually not so worried about them in conventional vehicles. However, your regular vehicle usually won’t bounce from the roots of trees, bounce from deep ruts, and race on racers such as Polaris Rangers. For this reason and many other reasons, it is very important to find a mirror that can meet the higher performance standards we require for UTV.
When it comes to expectations from the Polaris Ranger side view or rearview mirror, what you can only see behind you is the minimum need. In all cases, high-quality mirrors will make a difference in terms of safety:
Visibility – Install a high-quality mirror where you need it to provide maximum visibility while providing a wide field of view. Whether you are retreating in a race or in a narrow area, this means that you and your passengers can quickly identify and communicate information about where obstacles/other vehicles are for maximum safety.
Contour-The Polaris Ranger mirror can extend out of the frame to a certain extent, but if it does not detach due to impact, then for those tight squeezing, you may want to consider something with a more discrete contour. This also plays an important role in safety, because turning off the rearview mirror when navigating in a narrow area is never a good sign for safety.
Rigidity-As mentioned earlier, Polaris Ranger mirrors that can be disconnected are always a good choice because they provide you with the best of both worlds: high visibility and durability. Especially a mirror designed to be easy to rebuild or reposition after a strong impact. Unlike the relatively “smooth” highways and urban streets where we are accustomed to using cars, UTV obviously has to deal with more difficult conditions. If the mirror is of poor quality or improperly fixed, it means that your mirror may vibrate to the best position and become unusable until repaired. This is not what you want to happen in the game scene, in this case, every second may cost you a huge price.
